The Dyson HushJet Purifier Compact has officially landed in Malaysia, making it the brandβs latest entry for the small-format air purifiers. The company touted its use of βaerodynamic principles of jet enginesβ for the purifierβs new HustJet nozzle, which is the subsequent iteration of Dysonβs existing Air Multiplier technology.

Hereβs the idea: the star-shaped HushJet entrainment nozzle draws in surrounding air into a narrow high-speed airflow, essentially making use of the Venturi Effect (youβll know this if you paid attention to your physics class). Unlike most purifiers that puts a simple fan grille for physical protection, The nozzle design also help reduces airflow turbulence and attenuates sound waves from the high-speed compressor to reduce overall noise output, down to as low as 24dBA in night mode.
Its filtration is handled through an electrostatic and activated carbon system that captures particles down to 0.3 microns at a stated efficiency of 99.97%. The fully sealed filtration structure is designed to prevent pollutant leakage, while filter lifespan is rated for up to five years (4x longer compared to the previous design). The unit delivers a clean air delivery rate (CADR) of 250mΒ³ per hour and is specified for rooms up to 200 square feet, with additional controls accessible via MyDyson app.
The Dyson HushJet Purifier Compact is priced at RM1,699 in Malaysia, now available in Dyson stores and official website.
Pokdepinion: A 4x increase in filtration lifespan is a big deal.
