Apple announced the winners of the 2025 App Store Awards, recognizing 17 apps and games across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Apple TV, Apple Vision Pro, and Apple Arcade for their βtechnical ingenuity and lasting cultural impact.β The winners were hand-selected by App Store editors from 45 finalists announced two weeks ago.

Tiimo was named iPhone App of the Year for its visual planning features and AI tools that help users turn goals into actionable steps, while Detail received iPad App of the Year for providing AI-powered video editing tools accessible to a broad range of creators. Essayist was recognized as Mac App of the Year for AI-assisted academic formatting, while Explore POV on Apple Vision Pro was awarded for immersive visual experiences. Strava on Apple Watch and HBO Max on Apple TV were also recognized for connecting communities and providing accessible content.
In the gaming category, PokΓ©mon TCG Pocket received iPhone Game of the Year, DREDGE on iPad was selected for its immersive narrative and gameplay, and Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition took home the Mac Game of the Year title. Porta Nubi and WHAT THE CLASH? were also awarded the win under the Apple Vision Pro Game of the Year, and Apple Arcade Game of the Year, respectively.
App Store editors additionally named six βCultural Impactβ winners for promoting inclusivity, accessibility, and social engagement. These include: Art of Fauna, Chants of Sennaar, despelote, Be My Eyes, Focus Friend by Hank Green, and StoryGraph.
