5/10The God of Thunder himself appears as a DLC character in Injustice 2, ready to rain on the parades of puny mortal beings in the popular fighting game.
New Character Joins The Injustice 2 Roster
It would seem that NetherRealm Studios really love crossovers, and especially those among its own fighting universes. Weβve seen Scorpion before and now weβre seeing another one. During the Pro Series Grand Finals hosted in Hollywood, the developer and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced that another popular character fromΒ Mortal KombatΒ is coming toΒ Injustice 2.
That beloved character is none other than the God of Thunder himself, Raiden, and he will be added as DLC part asΒ Fighter Pack 2Β this October. Raiden isnβt the firstΒ Mortal KombatΒ character to appear inΒ Injustice 2,Β asΒ Sub-Zero has been playable for a while, released within the first fighter pack.
The God of Thunder definitely appears to not have lost his spark (pun intended and I am not sorry for that), and he definitely does not appear out of place among DC Comicsβ superheroes, especially thanks to an appropriate hero suit that makes him look like he always belonged there.

You can check it with the trailer Iβve included above. Injustice 2Β is currently available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, while a mobile version is also playable on iOS and Android. Of course, donβt expect the mobile version to play as good as its console counterpart but itβs a pretty decent game to pass the time.

Pokdepinion: Well, the Injustice 2 tournament over at Hollywood was prettyΒ exhilarating, with SonicFox proving why heβs a top player with Red Hood and Captain Cold. He did pull off an epic comeback with Erron Black against Tekken Master during the Mortal Kombat tournament at EVO 2016. Having a major announcement that Raiden is joining the character roster shows that these tournaments arenβt just something for eSports-goers as there can be major surprises for the gamer crowd as a whole.
