The company has officially revealed the identity of this model: the HONOR X9d 5G.

So what can we expect from the HONOR X9d? The company says the smartphone will feature “a reinforced body and a next-generation ultra-tough display,” With upgrades in performance along with “industry-leading battery system.” No specifics have been given beyond these words, so we’ll have to wait until more announcements reveals further information.
That aside, the image shown above indicates the smartphone will use a dual-camera setup in a rather large camera bump, and the color scheme adopts a leather red paired with gold-esque accents; the chassis also has a more flat edges mirroring contemporary designs.
Since its introduction in 2022, the X Series has been positioned as a mid-range lineup under the Chinese smartphone maker’s portfolio emphasizing durability as one of the leading features, and we’ve witnessed several demonstrations of such for some of its models. It’s no surprise this time then for the HONOR X9d to appear alongside firefighters, whose working environments definitely fits the definition of harsh.
