Nightingale Update 0.3 Adds Offline Mode, Along With New Features
Inflexion Studios has released Update 0.3 for their survival crafting game Nightingale, introducing the highly-requested offline mode. The update also implements the build-from-storage option, dynamic tiered creatures, new Bound enemies, plus a new community event, among other things.
The new offline mode feature allows solo players to explore the Realms without an internet connection, even during server maintenance – however, as it is currently at “version 1” state, some features are still work-in-progress. The developer said cloud saves, character migration from online mode, and performance enhancements will come at a later date.
Update 0.3 also includes several new features:
- Build-from-Storage: Streamlines construction by allowing players to build directly from their storage.
- Dynamic Tiered Creatures: Creature drops and appearances now adapt to Realm difficulty.
- New Bound Enemies: Introduces new enemy varieties and questlines.
- Updated Early-Game Experience: Players can skip the tutorial and choose a starter character loadout.
To celebrate the update, a special community event “A Spark of Hope” is live in-game – players can collect Hopeful Essence from Wisps and trade them for rewards at the vendor beside Sasse in the Abeyance Realm.
“Since the Early Access launch, we’ve been hard at work implementing feedback and creating a better player experience overall,” said Aaryn Flynn, CEO of Inflexion Games. “The introduction of offline mode is a significant milestone in the Early Access journey and one of many exciting updates we have planned for the coming months. We already feel like we’ve come along leaps and bounds since we launched just three months ago and we look forward to sharing more updates in the future,” he continued.
