HoYoverse Announces Zenless Zone Zero Confirmed For PlayStation 5
HoYoverse revealed in the latest PlayStation State of Play livestream that Zenless Zone Zero, its highly anticipated urban fantasy ARPG, is currently being developed for PlayStation 5 – following PC, iOS, and Android platforms confirmed prior.
Set in a world ravaged by a supernatural disaster known as “Hollows”, the story unfolds in New Eridu, the last surviving urban civilization, where players take on the role of Proxies uncovering mysteries of the disaster. Based on HoYoverse’s introduction, New Eridu is said to have acquired the technology to extract essential resources out of the Hollows, ensuring its sole survival.
Zenless Zone Zero’s arrival on PS5 was confirmed through a new trailer during the PlayStation State of Play livestream. The trailer featured characters from Cunning Hares and Belobog Heavy Industries, as well as New Eridu’s “newly overhauled” urban environment. Also shown are the intense battles between Agents and Hollows enemies, concluding with Belle, one of the dual protagonists, navigating the Hollow Deep Dive System.
