Continuing off E3 2017βs EA Play conference,Β BioWare has finally revealed their new IP, that used to be code named βDylan.β The name of the new gameΒ is Anthem. The game is a mix of action RPG, massively multiplayer online game, and BioWare storytelling.
According to what was shared in the latest investor conference call, the game will be released during fiscal year 2019, which means between April 1st, 2018, and March 31st, 2019. It was initially slated for release during the current fiscal year, but the publisher decided to give it more development time.
A while ago, Electronic Arts CEO Andrew Wilson also was teased that it will:
Fundamentally disrupt the way people think about an action title, bringing friends together to play in an exhilarating new way.
This is actually just a tease, and more will be shown tomorrow at Microsoftβs press conference. While no platforms have been announced, this probably means that the game will probably be at least on Xbox One and Windows 10.
Either way, it looks like weβre gonna have quite a co-op RPG game to play with friends in the future. Will it be something like Mass Effect? Who knows. Weβll just have to wait until we see a bit more at Microsoftβs E3 press conference tomorrow.

Pokdepinion: Well, looks like we gotta wait just a bit longer to know more about Anthem but at least we got a teaser trailer to go along with it. Itβs a bit of a boner kill, I gotta admit that but letβs just keep watching E3 2017 and enjoy whatβs coming to us in the near future.
