vivo iQOO 12 Series To Feature 64MP Telephoto Lens
The latest leaks for vivoβs upcoming budget brand entry, iQOO 12 series, has surfaced courtesy of Chinese leaker ζ°η ι²θη« (Digital Chat Station).
According to the leaker, the iQOO 12 lineup will feature three lenses: a primary OmniVision OV50H sensor (50MP, OIS), a secondary Samsung ISOCELL JN1 ultrawide sensor (50MP), as well as the third telephoto lens that uses OmniVision OV64B. This third lens will also come with OIS, as well as offering up to 3x magnification.
The leaker has a fairly well track record, so itβs reasonable to believe this may be legitimate (although itβs always good to apply some salt to leaks and rumors in general). As far as telephoto lenses go, 3x is a somewhat standard affair these days; any higher youβll have to resort to periscope lens β the last iQOO model to have such a lens is all the way in six generations prior, the iQOO 5 Pro 5G.
Itβs expected that the iQOO 12 series may be using vivoβs new V3 ISP (image signal processor), which should give these lens a healthy boost in quality. In another note, the leaker has also mentioned all models of the lineup will feature at least 5,000mAh battery onboard (leaker specifically said the number starts with β5β).
