OPPO Teases Reno8 T5G, First 108MP Model Coming To Malaysia

The smartphone maker’s first 108MP model is set to launch on February 7.

The new Reno8 T5G features the company’s “first 108MP Portrait Camera”, along with it comes 120Hz curved display, 67W SUPERVOOC charging and a 4,800mAh battery that is touted to last for 4+ years, going by Oppo’s local landing page of the device.

There’s some of that Oppo’s secret sauce going on with Reno8 T5G’s cameras: the company says their NonaPixel Plus binning (9:1 ratio) and AI Portrait Super Resolution algorithm helps boost night light performance and provide higher resolution photos. Features such as Bokeh Flare Portrait, Selfie HDR and Dual-View Video makes a return from its predecessor.
