New Redmi Gaming Phone Might Feature Dimensity 1200 And 5,000mAh Battery
Rumours of the Redmi gaming phone specs have been circulating the interwebs for a while now. The latest batch of rumours are saying that the upcoming gaming phone from Redmi might feature MediaTek’s DImensity 1200 SoC as well as a 5,000mAh battery.
Redmi Gaming Phone: Dimensity 1200 SoC and 5,000mAh battery?
According to the rumours, the Redmi gaming phone will also feature Samsung’s E4 OLED display which will also feature a 144Hz refresh rate. It is also said that the display has a cutout at the top centre to accommodate for a punch-hole camera. The rumours further mention that Redmi’s gaming phone will feature retractable triggers similar to the ones found on the Black Shark 3 and Black Shark 4.
Additionally, the phone’s 5,000mAh could be supporting a 67W fast charging technology. This is based on a Chinese Center 3C certification that passed the device with the model number MDY-12-EF.
Previously, Lu Weibing, the current president of Redmi talked a bit about their upcoming gaming phone on his Weibo account. He revealed that the Redmi gaming phone “will be more compact than mainstream gaming phones that are available in the market.” He even touched upon the phone’s philosophy and main design focuses.
