Movie Director Claims Apple Doesnβt Allow Villains To Use iPhones
Itβs hard sometimes to watch a movie and not notice that some of the devices thatβs shown in them. Youβd probably seen protagonists to use iPhones. For villains however, that doesnβt seem the case. The reason behind it? Well it seems that Apple dislikes the idea according to a movie director.

Director Rian Johnson, who was behind Star Wars: The Last Jedi claims that Apple βstrongly discourages the practiceβ.
He has said that itβs Apple policy on the use of their products in films and itβs pretty strict.
Hereβs what heβs said in an interview:
(Apple) lets you use iPhones in movies but β and this is very pivotal if youβre ever watching a mystery movie β bad guys cannot have iPhones on camera.

The policy doesnβt stop at just iPhones. MacBooks is another popular product from the company and similar to iPhones, itβs seen normally being used by the βgood guysβ instead.
