U Mobile has introduced a new portfolio of ULTRA5G plans for consumers and enterprises, covering prepaid, postpaid, and business offerings. Notably, the new plans includes features such as Priority Pass access, built-in security tools, roaming options, and enterprise-focused network prioritization enabled by its 5G Standalone (5G SA) network.
U Mobile New ULTRA5G Plans
The ULTRA5G prepaid includes unlimited speed, calls, and free hotspot access through a SIM pack priced at RM10 (and that gives you immediate access to 20GB quota for 7 days), while data plans starts from RM28, with one-month validity. U Mobile also touts a new industry-first optional feature called ULTRA5G Priority Pass, which allows users to activate priority access during periods of congestion (i.e. concerts), available from RM2 for one hour to RM5 for three hours. The telco operator also offers built-in “Ultra Security” protection for its networks, automatically filtering out phishing SMS, fraudulent calls and high-risk websites.
U Mobile’s new Postpaid offerings provide up to 1,000GB of quota, and include 15GB of roaming data across more than 60 destinations. Priority Pass access is bundled into these plans (amount provided depending on the plans), with the ULTRA Family 128 plan in particular offering 4 shareable lines with pooled 1,000GB quota, 15GB roaming, and 12x priority passes among them. This plan also provides customers with a buy-one-free-one offer so you can get two 5G smartphones in one go.
As standard, all postpaid plans get Ultra Security, with bundled Ultra Security Pro package free for the first 3 months (RM5/month after that) that includes identify protection, device security, and cyber insurance services. On top of that, ULTRA WatchShare is now compatible with Apple Watch on top of existing Samsung and Huawei wearables support, with Apple Watch owners set to receive six months of complimentary access once they activate the service.
For enterprises, U Mobile has introduced ULTRA Business plans that prioritize network performance and security. Similar to the idea of Priority Pass, business users can get access to ULTRA5G Reserve, which enables enterprise traffic to be prioritized over general traffic for a claimed up to 4x performance improvement during peak periods. The plans also include roaming access for 60 destinations, embedded protection against cybersecurity threats, and plans of up to 2,000GB quota alongside unlimited calls and SMS. Fun fact: devices on this network will report itself as “ULTRA5G RESERVE” instead of the usual “UM ULTRA5G” identifier.
The enterprise portfolio extends beyond mobile plans to include wireless broadband (ULTRA Business WiFi) for quick deployments, fiber connectivity up to 10Gbps, dedicated internet access (DIA) for mission-critical operations, and ULTRA IoT for connected devices. U Mobile has noted that all of these services will rely on its 5G SA network, which has reached 82.9% coverage of populated areas (CoPA) as of March 2026, 3 months ahead of the planned rollout schedule.
