Apple has confirmed that its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC 2026) will take place from June 8th to 12th, 2026, with a hybrid format that combines online programming and a special in-person event at Apple Park.

The conference, a cornerstone of Apple’s developer relations, will showcase major updates across its platforms, including new AI-driven features, software innovations, and developer tools. Attendees will gain direct access to Apple engineers and designers through interactive labs, group sessions, and one-on-one appointments.

WWDC 2026 will open on June 8 with Apple’s Keynote and the Platforms State of the Union, setting the stage for a week of announcements. More than 100 video sessions will be available throughout the week via the Apple Developer app, website, YouTube, and bilibili in China.

The Apple Park gathering on June 8th will allow developers and students to watch the keynote live, meet Apple staff, and participate in exclusive labs and activities. Attendance will be limited, with details on registration available through the Apple Developer website.

Apple also reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing young talent through the Swift Student Challenge. Winners will be announced on March 26th, with 50 Distinguished Winners invited to Cupertino for a three-day experience.

Pokdepinion: I kind of wish it would happen earlier, more so to satiate my own curiosity. Given that we saw iOS 26 last year instead of 19, we do expect to see iOS 27 this year.
