JBL is bringin its new PartyBox 720 tower speaker in Malaysia, which delivers 800W of RMS output through dual 9-inch woofers and two 30mm dome tweeters, featuring JBL Pro Sound and AI Sound Boost for its audio package. Like most tower speakers, it comes with features you’d expect, like onboard lighting and portability features.

According to the company, AI Sound Boost adjusts audio performance in real time to maintain clarity and bass depth at higher volumes, where an untuned speaker may cause distortion. Besides that, the JBL PartyBox 720 also supports stereo pairing with another PartyBox 720, or connect to additional Auracast-enabled speakers for wider sound coverage. The onboard lighting shifts between multiple effects including starry and strobe patterns, with full customization available through the JBL PartyBox app. (Lighting effects syncs with music playback, too.)
For mobility, the speaker is equipped with wider wheels and an improved ergonomic handle, allowing it to be moved more easily between locations. It comes with two replaceable batteries included in-package that provide up to 15 hours of playtime each, and an additional two hours can be achieved with ten minutes of fast charging. The unit includes IPX4 splash resistance and offers connectivity options such as Combo Jack-XLR inputs for microphones, guitars, or DJ equipment.
The JBL PartyBox 720 will be available in Malaysia from mid-December at RM4,999 via the official website, Lazada, and Shopee.
