Itβs been two full generations since NVIDIA last introduced a TITAN card β the last released model was the TITAN RTX released in late 2018, or nearly 6 years ago at this point. However, weβve seen clues of Team Greenβs ultra-expensive GPU in the works before (which was eventually shelved), and now we are once again hearing rumors of TITANβs revival.
RTX TITAN Blackwell: βThe Big Thing Existsβ

We havenβt seen any images of the presumably uber-large GPU at this time, but prominent leaker @kopite7kimi has very simply said, βthe big thing exists.β This is in response of the report from leaker RedGamingTech, who reported that the top dog of the Blackwell lineup will be called β surprise, surprise β TITAN AI. In fairness to NVIDIA though, the name is justified as the nature of TITAN cards is for workstations and AI training uses.
In terms of performance, it is claimed that TITAN AI will by 63% faster than RTX 4090, while the RTX 5090 is said to be 48% faster. This means TITAN AI will only have a 10% performance advantage over RTX 5090. But the big question is β will NVIDIA launch this model to the market? This is very much still anyoneβs guesses at this point, as neither AMD or Intel will pose a threat to the chipmakerβs market domination in the coming generation. This is widely believed to be the reason for TITAN Adaβs cancellation as well.
With that, itβs reasonable to believe that TITAN Blackwell / TITAN AI will not be as aggressive as its unreleased Ada counterpart, which features a gargantuan chassis and rotated PCB to contain up to 800W of TGP. We already know from Seasonicβs database that RTX 5090 will consume 500W β it shouldnβt take too much power to achieve another 10% worth of performance, if the numbers are anything to go by.

Pokdepinion: Maybe a 600W card would be more feasible than the 800W monster that TITAN Ada once was?
