Kingston Technology Maintains Leadership In DRAM Module Market
Kingston Technology has once again secured its position as the worldβs top third-party DRAM module supplier. According to the latest revenue rankings provided by analyst firm TrendForce, Kingston retains its number one spot with an estimated 78.12% market share and $13.5 billion (USD) in revenue.
The report from TrendForce reveals that despite a 4.6% year-over-year decline in DRAM module sales across the industry in 2022, Kingstonβs revenue experienced a minor dip but it managed to maintain its global leadership for the 20th consecutive year.
In 2022, Kingston made noteworthy additions to its award-winning Kingston FURY Beast DDR5 and Renegade DDR5 memory modules. These products was later spawned with a second version featuring white heat spreaders, offering users the choice to match their memory modules with their systemβs aesthetics, be it the conventional all-black setup or the increasingly popular all-white PCs.
Kingston expressed their perspective, stating, βThe 2022 findings from TrendForce reflect the companyβs ongoing expansion and adaptability in the face of yet another demanding business year. This milestone not only reaffirms Kingstonβs dominant presence in the market but also underscores the companyβs resilience and significance within the industry, as we now proudly maintain our top position for the 20th consecutive year.β
Pokdepinion: The dominance continues, and I donβt see that changing anytime soon.
