Here’s the official synopsis of Marvel Studios’ “What If…?”:

“What If…?” flips the script on the MCU, reimagining famous events from the films in unexpected ways. Marvel Studios’ first animated series focuses on different heroes from the MCU, featuring a voice cast that includes a host of stars who reprise their roles. The series is directed by Bryan Andrews; AC Bradley is head writer.

Each episode of Marvel Studios’ first-ever animated series reimagines historic events from MCU films in wildly new ways, bringing back fan favourites like Peggy Carter, T’Challa, Dr Strange, Killmonger, Thor, and more. The Watcher, a cosmic overseer who introduces spectators to different tales in the “What If…?” multiverse each week, is voiced by Jeffrey Wright.

The series will also see more than 50 MCU cast members reprising their iconic roles, including Angela Bassett, Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Chadwick Boseman, Chris Hemsworth, Clark Gregg, Cobie Smulders, Danai Gurira, Dominic Cooper, Don Cheadle, Emily VanCamp, Evangeline Lilly, Hayley Atwell, Jeff Goldblum, Jeremy Renner, Jon Favreau, Josh Brolin, Karen Gillan, Mark Ruffalo, Michael B. Pokdepinion: Been waiting a long time for this show to come out. I’m a huge fan of the original comic series so I’m really stoked to see it finally on screen (even if it’s not the original stories from the comics).
