Disney+ Hotstar’s New “Loki” Featurette Recaps Character’s Entire MCU History

In an amusingly insightful new featurette, Tom Hiddleston give fans a 30 second rundown of the God of Mischief’s entire MCU backstory to celebrate his upcoming series on Disney+ Hotstar. On Wednesday, June 9, Marvel Studios’ new original series “Loki” premieres on Disney+ Hotstar.

Marvel Studios’ “Loki” features the God of Mischief as he steps out of his brother’s shadow in a new series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.” You can check out the full official synopsis of the series down below.

Picking up immediately after Loki steals the Tesseract (again), he finds himself called before the Time Variance Authority, a bureaucratic organization that exists outside of time and space, forced to answer for his crimes against the timeline and given a choice: face deletion from reality or assist in catching an even greater threat.

Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku, and Richard E. Grant join Tom Hiddleston as the title character. “Loki” is directed by Kate Herron, and Michael Waldron is the head editor.

Disney+ Hotstar is officially coming to Malaysia this June 1 and will be available for RM54.90 for three months. The streaming service can be watched through the official app on Android and iOS, media streaming services, compatible smart TVs, on Astro, and through web browsers.

Pokdepinion: I’m definitely checking out Marvel’s new show when it releases mainly because I’m curious about the whole premise of the show. I liked WandaVision but wasn’t a huge fan of Falcon and the Winter Soldier so hopefully, “Loki” is more like the former rather than the latter.
