Devil May Cry 5 Update Removes Partial Nudity Censorship
If youβre a fan of Devil May Cry 5 then chances are that youβve heard some interesting and weird stories about the game. We recently covered about a partial nudity censorship which affected Trish in a short scene of the game. It appears that a new update has removed this censorship.
As seen in the video at the top of this page from YouTubers Itachi Uchiha, patch 1.07 forΒ Devil May Cry 5Β on the PlayStation 4 has now removed the light that initially covered up the brief partial nudity of Trish in the gameβs cutscene following Mission 11. With this update, the PS4 version is now identical to that of the Xbox One and PC counterparts of Devil May Cry 5 which never had this scene censored in the first place.
However, there is a rather strange caveat with this entire ordeal. According to multiple reports and footage that has been shared online, it seems that this patch has only removed the censorship in the scene for those in the United States. For those in Europe, this scene in question still contains the same light that covers Trishβs rear area. The reasons as to why this is the case have not been given by either Sony or Capcom.
Itβs a very odd chain of events but this might just not be the end of it. Weβll be reporting on the matter if and when thereβs more information that becomes available.
Devil May Cry 5Β is out now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The free Bloody Palace DLC for the game is now available.
Pokdepinion: For many adults now, what youβd be seeing is relatively harmless but for kids, definitely not good for them. But then again, kids shouldnβt be playing a game like this to begin with.
